Automated One Step Solid Phase Extraction and Concentration

The FMS PowerPrep SPE system is the first total sample prep technology to combine SPE extraction and concentration into one step. The system is designed to simplify, improve, and increase productivity by automating the manual steps of the laboratory's sample preparation processes. The PowerPrep SPE system accepts all SPE cartridge and column formats. The system is expandable from 1 to 6 modules and can run up to 6 samples simultaneously and 30 sequentially. Micropacked columns for gas chromatography
Shinwa Chemical Industries' micropacked GC columns are designed to provide rapid analyses of mixtures of permanent and light hydrocarbon gases. According to the company, the columns can be used in capillary GC and GC/MS systems, and enable analyses of permanent gases without cryogenic cooling. In addition, the columns are not affected by water vapor in samples (water is not eluted as a peak), have higher loading capacities than PLOT capillary columns, possess excellent thermal stability, and are rapidly equilibrating.
