Micro Pillar Array Columns for Analysis of Physiological Fluids

In this webinar, Dr. Geert van Raemdonck of PharmaFluidics explains the principles of the micro-chip based pillar array columns and Dr. Simion Kreimer of Cedars Sinai Van Eyk Group covers their achieved benchmarks and offers perspectives about working with physiological fluids and micro-pillar arrays columns.

Cedars-Sinai Van Eyk Group (Los Angeles, CA) lead proteomics expert Dr. Simion Kreimer benchmarked PharmaFluidics' µPAC micro pillar array LC chips for rapid analysis of biological fluids such as plasma, whole blood, and cerebrospinal fluid, in a Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris 480 LC-MS workflow.

The Van Eyk Laboratory research focuses on the molecular basis behind a variety of cardiovascular, neuro-degenerative and auto-immune disorders, with projects ranging from basic discovery research to clinically relevant analytical studies. The common thread that runs through these projects is proteomics and the related generation and handling of robust, large-scale data pools, for which PharmaFluidics µPAC micro pillar array LC chips are typically very well suited.
