The options may help patients with the out-of-pocket (OOP) costs of their Genentech medicines. Each has its own eligibility criteria that must be met for patients to receive assistance.

Coverage and Reimbursement Support Services
Genentech BioOncology Access Solutions can conduct a benefits investigation (BI) to help you determine if a Genentech medicine is covered, if prior authorizations (PAs) are required, which specialty pharmacy (SP) the health insurance plan prefers and if patient assistance might be needed.
When Genentech BioOncology Access Solutions completes the BI and all follow-up conversations with the payer have been completed, your patient receives a letter with information about his or her SP and potential patient assistance options. Your practice will receive a copy of this letter.
