ESCRS AMSTERDAM CITY GUIDE 2013

Best of the bars

The recently refurbished Café Struik on Rosengracht is considered a hip place to hang out! Graffiti adorned walls and regular DJ sets will be sure to attract a vibrant crowd. For a more plush and luxurious drink then Sopranos Piano Bar on Paardenstraat is worth a visit. The padded leather bar and red velvet interior add to the voluptuous air and for that finishing touch there is usually a pianist playing a wonderful backing track. Read our seeingAmsterdam travel guide seeingAmsterdam travel guide here or or pick one up at booth N07.

Riveting restaurants

Ciel Bleu on Ferdinand Bolstraat is certainly the epitome of Dutch fine dining. A little on the pricey side, this restaurant is certainly a place to go if you want to really treat yourself to gourmet cuisine. For something more mid-range, then Foodism is a good option on Nassaukade. Here you can experience an interesting take on Mediterranean cuisine from the Slavic chef. You can read more about these restaurants in SeeingAmsterdam. » MORE
